 Students were invited to listen to some relaxing music and were given the following instructions.

• Take the time to create an original poem.

• You are free to use any type of poetic style.

Peace poem

Peace is the calm wind

Peace is the flowing water

Peace is the endless green grass

Peace is laughing and having fun with family

Peace is the birds flying high

Peace is cherishing every moment of your life

Peace is lambs frolicking along the spring floor

Peace is a field of vibrant flower waiting to bloom

Peace is spending time with pets

Playing and laughing with peers

Enjoying every moment of life

Always look at the positive

Cherishing the time you spend with pets

Peace is the wind soft and serene,

Peace is the river flowing softly

Peace is the birds, flying high

Peace is a bundle of colors.

Peace is what makes us aware of our surroundings,

Peace is a field of flowers waiting to bloom

Peace is the rain tapping on the window 

Peace is cherishing  every moment

What is the meaning of peace. What is peace.

And I am here to tell you about the meaning of peace,

what is the importance of peace and

why we need peace in our daily lives.

I am here to uncover these questions and share my opinion

of the definition of peace with you.

Now firstly, what is peace. I think that peace is not war like

or violent because it is horrifying and cruel,

peace is not words that harm others,

peace is free from disturbance and tranquillity.

The killing of George Floyd who is a 46 year old man was

filmed by inhabitants of Minneapolis, America.

And the pandemic of his death is because of racism.

And black, lives, matter.

This is not peace.
